2.1 ct. Stunning Star in an Unheated/Untreated Blue Sapphire Cabochon Gemstone set in Brass Holder Ring for Display. This Sharp Star Sapphire is from old stock and displays a very sharp 6 ray star when shown in transmitted light. This stone does have a piece missing from the backside however this is unnoticeable mounted in a setting.

Note: This Stone was mined in Myanmar which comonly set stones in inexpensive brass rings due to export laws imposed by Myanmar's government. These temporary settings should only be used for display purposes and minimal wearing until the stone can be set into proper silver or gold jewelry.

Under normal light the star is still sharp due to this stone's inner silk rutile inclusions. The structure of the hexagonal shaped crystal of the Corundum (Sapphire) can also be seen under the surface of the stone giving it natural geometric features beneath an absolutely stunning star asterism. This truly is a special stone deservant of gold and diamonds and is sure to increase in value in the years to come.

The star itself represents the manifestation of Divine knowledge and Light into denser reality, and reminds us that the outer manifestations we treasure are a reflection of the Light of our own essence. 

The three lines that cross in the six-rayed star represent faith, hope and destiny, sometimes associated with three angels who offer protection to those who wear Star Sapphire. The moving star brings ongoing safety to travelers and guides their way home.
