Within that 1% of translucent material is a wide range of qualities and prices.

Imperial Translucent Black Omphacite-Jadeite Jade is a very unique stone to own. It is said that this type of Jadeite takes at least 3 times longer to form (300 million years) than jadeite of other colors making the presence of this stone very limited, only found randomly in small amounts in the Uru River Basin around Hpakant, Kachin State, Myanmar (Burma).
